REMOTE MEASUREMENT OF PROTECTIVE GROUND CIRCUIT SYSTEM
A
protective ground circuit needs to avoid for high voltage on the metallic structures and on the electrical systems that can provoke dangerous situations for the people or circuits and to damage the electrical systems. A
protective ground circuit links to ground every metallic element to protect for high voltage and it produces a flow of electric current (discharge current) that it crosses the ground system thanks to a lower resistance of
electric elements and people to be safeguarded. The system can work with permanent electric continuity in the time (protection of metallic parts) or with unloader devices that activates only when the voltage overcomes the pre-arranged limit value.

The measure is performed on field, generally only one technician, with the employment of a measure tool.
The measure is effected by a special management system that allows to perform in remote way, by commuted network, the ground measure of the circuit and the relative line test of the connection. |
